Looking for a calm, welcoming place to meet regularly with your book club or discussion group? Community Table Reservations at Blue Thistle are designed to feel easy, familiar, and unrushed — like your favorite neighborhood café, just a little more intentional.

There’s no upfront fee, no buyout, and nothing complicated to plan. You reserve a shared table or section, your guests order what they’d like from the menu, and the space gently supports conversation and connection.

This option is ideal for locals who want a dependable “third place” — somewhere comfortable enough to return to week after week, without the pressure of hosting an event.

How It Works

Reserve a table or section for 6–10 guests

90-minute reservation (120 minutes may be available upon request)

Guests order individually from the menu

Gentle guideline: each guest purchases at least one item

Optional Tea Service Upgrade available (details below)

Other guests may be present during your reservation

Optional Tea Service Upgrade — $5 per person

Is this a private reservation?
No. Community Table Reservations take place during open hours, and other guests may be present- unless confirmed with the owner

Do we pay anything to book?
No upfront booking fee is required. Guests order individually from the menu during the visit.

What if fewer people show up than planned?
That’s okay — just let us know your best estimate when booking.

Can we bring outside food?
Outside food is not permitted at Community Table Reservations.

Can we bring alcohol?
No alcohol is permitted on the premises.

Can we decorate the table?
Minimal table-top items are welcome. Please avoid banners, confetti, or large décor.

How early should we arrive?
Please arrive at your scheduled time so we can seat you comfortably.

What if we’re running late?
Your reservation time still applies. Late arrival may shorten your gathering window.

Can we book this weekly or monthly?
Yes — recurring groups are welcome and encouraged. Note your preference at booking.
